Dan is the ideas man. Kay initially asked him to help set up the web site which he did as a favour. When he had to go part time in the day job, Dan became Farida's first badly paid employee. Kay says of Dan "Farida wouldn't  survive without him. Dan is fabulous." Dan designed and set up the web site, he also comes to the rescue when the computer gremlins cause havoc (honest it's nothing to do with Kay or Christine) & helps at the bigger events.

He never intended to get sucked into what he calls "the seedy world of belly dance" but secretly enjoys it. So much so that he has performed a stick dance in NADA's production of "Nightingale of the Nile" with the Tarab dance company. He and Angus were stars.
