If you would like us to manage the dancers in your restaurant, we will try and give you a range of dancers so you have variety for your customers. If you find you prefer one dancer in particular, we can arrange for her to be your regular dancer but will have additional dancers ready to step in if she has holiday or is otherwise engaged. If you have a regular night with a dancer, we will advertise that for you as well. If you want dancers at the last minute, we will try and provide someone but we cannot guarantee it. The longer you can book in advance, the better. If you have to cancel your dancer because bookings are low, it is not an issue if it is occasionally BUT if it happens on a regular basis, we would let you source your own dancers. Dancers can do one set however this does work out slightly more expensive. They would dance for 15 - 20 minutes. Or, you can have them for 2 sets in which case they change costume. Each set would be between 15 - 20 minutes and they would be with you for around one hour. What do you want from your dancer? A sit and watch show - or for them to get your customers up to have a boogie? Just let us know so we can brief the dancer and make it the best possible night for you. You want to liven up your launch event - or have a team build event with a difference? Perhaps you are hosting a dinner party for clients or having a theme night for the staff? Why not include some Belly Dance? Below are some suggestions as to how they can enhance different events: We have dance teachers / performers who specialise in this sort of event. We will find out what your current strategies are and build the event round this. Maybe it is team work, maybe it is customer service. Whatever, we can design something to back up your values. Our dancer will not only get your team dancing but she will finish with a performance herself. You may want some added colour for the full event with solo dancers and possibly some troupe dances to add colour & liven up the event. If you would like to talk through ideas, give us a call on 0191 519 0305. Dinner Parties / Themed nights: Our dancers add colour & character to an evening event. They will all go home telling their partners or absent work colleagues about the do with a belly dancer! Depending on the size of your event - or the size of your budget, you can have between one & 5 dancers. If you have more that one, it gives scope for duets or group numbers which people find interesting as well. They would generally be with you for about an hour (though can be booked for longer) & do two 15 - 20 minute sets with a costume change - or if you have booked a group of dancers, they may do one longer show. We always aim to get people up dancing at the end so helping get your party going - if it needs a bit of an extra boost! We do NOT supply dancers for male only parties. A dancer is a great way to get the party going. She gives a focal point to your event. Fabulous costumes & a hint of the exotic East as she glides her way onto the dance floor. Our dancers start their set with an Oriental opening number and finish with more poppy music which people often find easier to dance to. They will encourage people to join them and have a go. Our dancers can do one or two sets as you like. Feel free to call and talk it through with us if you are not sure what you want. Each dancer has a different style and each brings her own skills to the performance. Some use props like veils, assaya (stick) or sagat (finger cymbals). Others do not. Prices vary dependant on the location & length of time you want our dancer to dance. We have a range of options for festivals dependant on your budget. There are various amateur groups around the UK who are keen to do this sort of thing. We cannot vouch for the ability of these groups but they will bring fun & colour to your event. If you want something more professional then The Tarab Dance Company can be booked to do a show incorporating a range of styles from Folk to cabaret. There would be a minimum of 3 dancers but you can have up to 8. The set finishes with the appearance of Desiree, our Egyptian pantomime horse. If the Tarab Dance Company are not available, Desiree will sometimes deign to appear with other groups! Looking to bring more multi cultural shows to your area?
