Randa - anyone who has seen Randa
perform knows how fantastic she is, and if you haven't seen her now is your
chance. For pure drama, feeling and interpretation of the music she cannot be
beaten. And she's gorgeous too!
Yasmina of Cairo - Yasmina is a
British dancer renown for her smooth & fluid style, she does a variety of fab
performances, including a funky Shaabi tableau with Sayed Amar, Mohamed Khazafy
and Sayed Tura
Sayed Amar - stunning whirling Dervish - can be seen regularly on the
Nile Pharon, Cairo.
Khazafy - fabulous dancer, trained
with the Reda Troupe, and now a very popular teacher too.
Hebba - wonderful Baladi singer, she
adds yet another dimension to this DVD
Live music from El Negoum band, led by
singer Safaa Farid. Based in Cairo, these guys work with professional
dancers all the time. A pleasure to have such a skilled band of musicians
in the UK.

The Farha show this year was absolutely fantastic! Then again, I
did have a front seat which made all the difference because I
had a fantastic view and could see the emotion displayed by the
musicians/dancers/Hebba. I might not have understood the words
(wish I did ….) but I could sense what the
music
was about by watching the facial expressions.
Brilliant and inspirational. I loved every minute of it. The
show was absolutely breathtaking and took me on a heady journey
of emotions from start to finish. Above all the performers
overcame the theatre setting to make an intimate connection with
everyone of us. I felt privileged to be in the audience.

saw the farha show at the Shaw theatre with my son who is
fifteen.

says - Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. They brought
the whole atmosphere of Cairo with them, I loved every minute,
laughed and cried and felt totally emotionally drained and
fulfilled at the end !! Well done to Kay and all involved in
bringing us this treat.

styles, music & costuming.
This DVD has been recorded in European
